The holiday ‘tamalada’, or tamale-making party, is a gathering of family & friends creating and connecting over the preparation and enjoyment of these flavorful packages goodness. Join Chef Danielle Duran Zecca as she guides us through the process of making four types of tamales from scratch; chicken, beef, cheese, and sweet pumpkin. We’ll make plenty to take home too! Ages 13+ only please.

A bit about Chef Danielle Duran Zecca:

Chef Danielle draws on her Mexican culture and vast experience both in NYC (Le Bernadin, Vespa, Le CouCou) and locally as Chef de Cuisine at Union Restaurant. Her food is a unique combination of her heritage and passions utilizing a wide array of fresh ingredients. When not running her culinary empire, she can be seen on Food Network competing on Beat Bobby Flay and Kitchen Casino.

*Cancellation Policy: Payments for classes and events at Urban Kitchen are non-refundable. You may reschedule a class with a minimum of 72 hours notice. Otherwise, you may transfer your ticket to someone else. Very rarely Urban Kitchen may have to reschedule or cancel a class.
